pnts Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I really like it but having a di/xlr-out would be a great mod! Im not a tech-wiz.. soo, anyone know of a mod or know why there isnt a mod? Quote
EskimoBassist Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) The VT deluxe does have a DI, plus 3 presets. Also there IS a mod for the standard VT. Putnam guitars do one: http://putnamguitars.com/mods.htm There's a thread on Talkbass about it but the pictures seem to have gone walkaboot: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f36/vt-bass-mod-w-pics-605642/ Edited May 4, 2012 by EskimoBassist Quote
Clarky Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Cynically I am guessing the reason it doesn't have a DI/XLR is so it doesn't massively undermine the Sansamp franchise Quote
Pollinator95 Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 I think the way to put a DI into it is the same as for any other pedal. Quote
topo morto Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Just checking you've seen http://basschat.co.uk/topic/189843-sansamp-vt-bass-v2-with-di-and-parallel-out-mod-l160/ Quote
brensabre79 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Or you could just get a passive DI box and put it after the pedal... Quote

Tech 21 make SansAmp's. IIRC, the VT Bass was released as a pared down/cheaper version of the Bass Driver DI. If you want the DI, get the Bass Driver. Quote
