spongebob
I've sent loads of basses before with couriers, but..... I've agreed to sell my Brother's Marshall (guitar) 30w amp for him. I'm getting it on Sunday, so may put it on BC as well (comes with an equally mint Epiphone Les Paul in a flight case as well!) Probably end up on E-bay.....fine, but how on earth do I package an amp for a courier? I've only ever sent basses in hard cases - so I'm not quite sure how to do it. It hasn't got any original box or anything with it, so any suggestions as to what I can do?
woodyratm
Bubblewrap and attach cardboard. But wrap it with bubblewrap within an inch of its life!
Lozz196
Yep, when I sent an amp I made sure that I put plenty of bubble-wrap around it, then put it in the box with extra cardboard - in effect making the box twice as thick - then in any space left, pack it tightly with newspaper. Then, overkill on the parcel-tape on the outside.
uncle psychosis
Double boxed and loads of bubble wrap. Assume it will be dropped and plan accordingly!

Mr. Foxen
It it is one with transformers, jam a bit of wood between them, so if dropped, less bending can happen.
