PLEASE HELP :) Troublesome GK MB200... can anyone name the noise?!

Hello everyone, this just came in the post!... happy days. no, it makes a horrible sound, a crackling distorted sound that is reflective on the low notes in particular.

well i filmed it and you can hear the noise... anyone heard it before?

•tried different cable
•its not my house
•the issue down not happen when headphones are used!,

I'm calling thomman tomorrow... thing is i don't know if they will charge me to send it back! (not cheep!!!)

Should not be a charge if it's clearly faulty. It's their responsibility to collect it and replace with new.Tell them you need a replacement ASAP.

PS I thought all Rickenbackers sounded like that! Have you tried it through a different cab?

i can't try a different cab, because i don't have one!

PS and was that a rickenbacker hating joke? i used a stingray and a thunderbird, they all do the same thing, just the ricky was in the room when i filmed it
