Astrosmurf Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Hi Guys Ive just been offered a Shine Stingray copy thats a bit marked, but solid. I was just going to re-colour it, but now im thinking maybe take it a bit further. Id like to put Jazz Pickups in it, and was wondering if anyone had any pics of similar? Also, how would i go about having the body re routed for the pups, anyone on here that would be recommended? THanks in anticipation Quote
stingrayPete1977 Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Check out Ou7shined's Pingray bass or you could fit a second humbucker up front like a H H Ray , put some coil taps in to get a variety of configurations, buy a pukka HH pick guard to use as a template for the route position, they are only about £18 from strings and things Quote
