icastle Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 £8k for something that looks like it's just been pulled from a builders skip? I'll never get my head around this 'thing' some people have with fake roadworn instruments... Quote

Although I still don't get the obsession with Fenders in general. I have a British-made bass that's about 50 years old and isn't worth anything like £8k and shouldn't be anyway. Quote

Gust0o Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Maybe it's just on Ishi as someone wants to see how much he might get for it, you spiteful c***s*****s. Why don't you channel your negative energies into something more positive, if you have the TIM. I'll be joining Ian in his alcove and hoping people read the other thread Quote

Took them two and a half weeks to reply, by which time they were sold . Edited May 6, 2012 by Subbeh Quote

Stacker Posted May 9, 2012 Author Posted May 9, 2012 Ok, so the man emails me. As expected, new nut and a re-fret, but the pots have been changed, too! Anyway, pipe-dream bass at that price, and overpriced with it, IMO. Quote
