TC Electronics BG250

Evening BCer's
I have just sold my bass rig and I am on the lookout for a lightweight outfit,
I clocked one of the new BG250's from TCE.In PMT Manchester.
It sounded quite good and with the extra tricks up it's sleeve seems to be an ideal replacement, and at 250w was equal in output to my last outfit-but at just 16kg I thought wow that is just what I'm looking for,
anyone else in bassland tried one of these?

Well it would appear BGM like the BG250, mind you I can't remember the last time they didn't like something lol. Has anyone here tried one of these in anger, at volume?

I subscribe online to the mag but can't see anything about this little number...and I'm intrigued by it. Hmm what what!

I had one but sent it back, only because the treble control was subtle to non-existent. Apparently its not suited to all passive basses, there is talk about it on talkbass.
