All the above I agree with. It's a bass (and 6 string guitar for that matter) desert.

Bairds have always had a G&L Tribute L2000 every time I've been in recently but it's been a while.

If you like acoustic guitars, a visit to the Avalon factory in Newtownards, Lowden near Downpatrick and the Guitar Rooms in Holywood are all worth a look.
