Ampeg SVT 810 AV

Hi all, does anyone have any experience of these cabs? They are about £200 cheaper than the 810e and look a lot cooler to me. When I asked a salesman why they are cheaper, he said that the 810e sounds more vintage. When I put Ampeg 810 cabinets into youtubem their technical head guy was on there saying that the 810av and 810e are identical apart from the colour of the grille...... which begs the question of the price difference???!

Oh, and just to add further confusion, at Thomann, the av is more expensive than the e.

Please help.................... anyone?

There was at least one Ampeg 8x10 with a tweeter, it had a coaxial one, or maybe two on the one cone (or one cone of each group of 4).
