evilLordJuju Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 (edited) I have a 1978 Guild B-302 F fretless bass that I just don't use - what have you got? guitar or bass I wouldn't mind exchanging for a fretted B-302 if anyone has one - a long shot I know Edited November 25, 2012 by evilLordJuju
FlatEric Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Very Nice!! I've got a 301F and a 301. It's one of those basses that you just don't know how good they are until you try one, as there is very little commented about them. If only this had frets, I would happily trade you something. Good luck! Cheers.
cd_david Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Wish I had something to swap atm. I owned an unlined 301F but sold it about 6 years ago and regretted it ever since. These are superb quality instruments. Good Luck
steviedee Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 (edited) A fretted version was my first 'real bass' absolutely regretted selling when I was smart enough to realise what I had! Edited May 11, 2012 by steviedee
evilLordJuju Posted May 12, 2012 Author Posted May 12, 2012 As for trades, I am always looking at guitars and basses by Gibson, Guild, Epiphone, Hagstrom, Vox - typically vintage gear, and typically passive with frets! Thanks
Schnozzalee Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 *Drool* I bought one of these from Shaggy, but then px'd for a Genz Benz rig to Bob Palt - miss it a lot, if I was in the market i'd be begging you to sell! Quality vintage fretless, good solid tone to it and looks the biz in person.
Oldman Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 I had a 301 many years ago had to get a Bank Loan to buy it ,the Bank Manager said "will you earn enough from your band to pay for this".......at the time I was'nt in to Fretless, but it was 1976..

Got nearly a grand off evilbay for the mahogany one...Bought my Streamer SS1, My Spector NS2000 and sorted out the motorbike with the money :-)
evilLordJuju Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 Bump, would really like one of these with frets....
Shockwave Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012
This bass is still available
Heya. Due to forum rules you must state a value in £ on the bass, even if you are not selling it for cash.
evilLordJuju Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 i'm now open to sales offers on this, as no trades were forthcoming. Something like £700 maybe? I'm happy to trade still for any vintage gear
