evilLordJuju Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 (edited) These are great basses - built with genuine Gibson EB bass parts in Kalamazoo Michigan. This one is complete and fully original, even with handrest. Most get parted out to replace missing parts on Gibson EB0/2/3s. Despite the construction and materials, this bass is very similar tonally to the EB0 - good for jazz, dub, stoner rock etc Trades only please There are soundclips of this bass here http://www.vintagegu..._soundclips.php make sure you check out the last one with a pick - that's how I play this bass - nice and fuzzy Edited May 11, 2012 by evilLordJuju

evilLordJuju Posted May 23, 2012 Author Posted May 23, 2012 (edited) For any of you Deep Funk fans, I believe the bass used on the record below was a Kalamazoo KB. Super fat funk basstone - Boilin' Water by the Soul Choppers. Edited November 7, 2012 by evilLordJuju

evilLordJuju Posted May 25, 2012 Author Posted May 25, 2012
What are you looking to trade for?? What's the approximate value of this??
Well I can either trade this with the other stuff I have listed, or on it's own with or without money. These are basically Gibson EB bass parts on a cheaper body - without nitro finish and set neck - probably £350-£400
evilLordJuju Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 Still available if someone wants to shake some foundations
evilLordJuju Posted June 18, 2012 Author Posted June 18, 2012 Actually, i'd quite like to swap this for a 60s hagstrom/kent/futurama solid body - or maybe a hofner solid? anybody?
evilLordJuju Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 thanks for the offer Jim, but I have no spare cash just now This is still available though
Shockwave Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Like your other advert, due to forum rules you MUST put a price value on the bass. Please do this ASAP.
evilLordJuju Posted October 6, 2012 Author Posted October 6, 2012 ok, you cabn have this great bass for £350 - or trade for equivalent value in other vintage gear
