Hutton
As I have just purchased Old Horse Murphy's Fretless Precision I am putting my Corvette Standard Fretless up for sale. This bass is in very good condition as you can see from the photographs. The bass is a German made Corvette Standard Fretless with the active/passive EQ. Here's the details from the Warwick website:- Serial Number: M 121049 05 Date: 09/02/2006 Corvette Standard Ocean Blue Oil Finish Swamp Ash Body Ovangkol Neck The website doesn't say what the fingerboard is made of but I'm certain that it is ebony. There is some very slight 'worming' high up on the fingerboard which I inherited when I got the bass. It is hardly noticeable, and does not effect the playability of the bass, but I feel I should mention this for the sake of transparency. There are also three very small scuff marks which are very much on the surface. The Bass is fitted with schaller straplock buttons. I will also include the original Warwick straplock buttons although I do not have the Warwick strap part of the locks. The bass will be shipped in a serviceable (but not very attractive) hard case. I am looking for £350 which inlcudes p&p to the UK.

mart
Nice bass! [/quote] It is definitely ebony - that's what Warwick use on absolutely all of their fretlesses (even the Rockbasses), although it's usually called "tigerstripe ebony" because they aren't fussy about getting stuff that's 100% black.
