Stacker Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I saw one of them in the flesh in a department store in Prague when I was a teeny! It was cobalt blue and I fell in love with it. Hhmmmm.... Quote
Mr H Posted May 13, 2012 Author Posted May 13, 2012
Must not buy any more 4-string basses...
Funnily enough, I was thinking of you when I started the thread! Quote
BigRedX Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I'm slowly building up a list of basses only available in 4-string versions that when I have sufficient funds I will get a luthier to make a completely accurate 5-string version. So far I have in my list: Ovation Magnum 1 Gibson EB3 Rickenbacker 4001 and having seen the bass from this thread - Burns Flyte (although we'll need to improve on the crappy pickups of the original!) FlatEric Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 Ha! Not seen many of these!! I used to have one, http://flatericbassandguitar.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/jolana-basso.html Cheers. Quote
mart Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 What a disappointment. From the title I was expecting a 9-string bass. Quote
