Mr Cougar Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Alright Chaps, the big cat is keen on taking up the EUB and I am trying to get one that is good quality but nothing stupidly expensive, I like the look of the NS CR4M anyone got any other suggestions what might be suitable? Quote

Guest subaudio Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 Hi, NS now do a cheaper version of the NS, may well be worth looking at http://www.nedsteinberger.com/wav/closerlook.html Quote
Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted June 20, 2007 Posted June 20, 2007 I have an NS-CR5M. I also have a Dean pace 4 string in natural maple, that will probably be up for sale soon to part finance a new Schroeder cabinet. Despite some rumours that the Dean isn't a "real" upright bass its great fun to play and sounds lovely with the TI jazz flats I put on it. Quote

Mr Cougar Posted June 22, 2007 Author Posted June 22, 2007 Cheers chaps, lot's to think about. Paul, I noticed yours was for sale, price seems there or thereabouts but I'm not much of an impulse buyer, need to mull it over for a while Quote
TheRev Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 There's also the Aria SWB range. http://www.ariaguitars.com/int/03_products/pro_main.html I quite like the SWB-04.No idea about prices but the bottom of the range SWB Lite sells for about £750.
