dave_bass5 Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 Got it brand new (!) from Electrohill. According to the manual there should be a battery and PSU but there is no sign of either. It does say in the manual that a PSU is included. Im not really bothered about the battery and doubt i will ever use the PSU but as i paid a bit more to get it from them and they cocked the delivery up its the least i can expect. The unit has obviously been used as it wasnt packed very well but ill not send it back. Looking forward to using ti tomorrow at the gig. Ill call them tomorrow. They are sending me a couple of Duracell's though so not all bad. As for the unit itself. We didnt get a sound check on Sat so i just set it up halfway on the compression level and it worked well. It sounded a little strange not getting more volume out of my rig by playing harder but thats what i was after. Quite a difference to my PF. All in all a great pedal. Grwat pedal though[/quote] Great indeed. Not had a chance to really play with it and i dont think ill bother. It just seemed to plug in and work. I doubt ill even bother touching the knobs again. I was a bit worried about distortion as im running it from my AKG wireless system but we recorded that gig off the desk and the sound is nice and smooth.
