yorks5stringer Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Is Basschat under some kind of specific attack today? Just been browsing in For Sale and my Rapport software ( for online banking) told me to get out quick and then the Microsoft Security Alert pops up saying it was cleaning affected files.... not sure I should be posting this! BigRedX Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I'd be checking out this new user who joined yesterday and appears to have administrator status. Quote
skydog2710 Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I registered with basschat yesterday. I have received several emails warning that your site maybe hacked and your messages may be phishing attacks (via Chrome and through McAfee) DD Quote
Kiwi Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 We noticed it too. He's now suspended but appears there maybe an exploit in the Invision software associated with uploading profile pics. We contacted invision and they're looking into it. Quote
