Can't upload pic (not even one!)

Tried to upload pic for my avatar and sig either as a resized jpg or via url from photobucket. Neither accepted.
What am I doing wrong?

I'm still waiting for confirmation but I expect picture uploading has been deactivated temporarily because of the security flaw in the Invision software that allows hackers to upload malicious code instead of images.

Updates were made on the Basschat FB page, (which is sort of an emergency assembly area in the event that the site has to be "evacuated".)

There also seems to be a problem in viewing photos in for sale threads which were uploaded as attachments. I can see them on the Admin permissions but I think they are blocked to member permissions?

Any news to report on this topic? I don't use FB so am hoping this might get sorted soon. No criticism - none at all - just curious...

The loophole has been patched. I can't find any settings behind the scenes that control whether particular user groups (members, admins etc) can access the picture uploader either. So now I'm wondering whether it might be something to do with the patch by Invision...?
