discreet Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I'd rather have a Fender P than a girl's hairstyle any day of the week. Quote
ezbass Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 The important question before comparing the 2 products is which Fender Precision? Quote
tredders Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012
The important question before comparing the 2 products is which Fender Precision?
This. I've owned loads of Fender Precisions over the years (probably 15), and my Lakland Bob Glaub was better than most them, including a 62 American Re-Issue. However, the 2 Fender P's I've got left are pretty much perfect, so there are great ones out there, and I've not tried the more recent Fender P's, which have a very good write up. Quote
thepurpleblob Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I think you'd be better off with a random Lakland than a random Fender.... maybe.... Quote
Hutton Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 It's all a bit pointless as it must always be down to personal preference. For what it's worth, and in my humble opinion, I would opt for Fender. Quote
Stealth Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Lakland tunes better plays better sounds better Quote
chris_b Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 4 or 5 string? Silly question.... Lakland. There are a couple in the FS section. Quote
