ash Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 Here is my old Hohner Pro Korean Made GT60. It's a good looking instrument being similar to a Jaguar or Jazzmaster...even Jagstang. The guitar is in excellent condition apart from having lost its trem and the rear strap button. It was set up as a Baritone guitar for a while and I was planning on installing a hardtail bridge lengthening the scale and setting it up like a Fender Bass VI but was told this wouldn't work...Oh well. Anyway its here for sale and I'm looking at £130 it could do with a proper set up but everything works as it should. Sorry for the poor pics, its cream/off white with a tortie plate.
mike257 Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 Any interest in working out some kind of trade with a Boss ME-50B? No worries if not, just thought I'd toss it out there!
MoonBassAlpha Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 how does the toggle switch work with 3 pickups? Just curious like.
ash Posted May 25, 2012 Author Posted May 25, 2012 Its a selector switch I believe and there is ATN circuitry apparently to emulate other guitars
MoonBassAlpha Posted May 25, 2012 Posted May 25, 2012 hmm, not really any the wiser for that, but thanks anyhow!
mike257 Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Gutted to say that I can't take this guitar at the moment - but here's some more info on its background from the designer, Alan Entwistle: http://www.entwistle...t.php?fllstry=y Scroll about halfway down the page and he talks about designing the ATN tone circuit, and how he ended up building these guitars with Hohner. Also - the purpose of the ATN tone circuit was supposedly to emulate the tones of other guitars - managed to find this scan of the settings card supplied with the guitar that tells you the right settings to emulate all the classics! ash Posted June 1, 2012 Author Posted June 1, 2012 Thanks for the info Mike! Well it's back up again as my other interested party didn't get back to me.
