stevie Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 (edited) This is my Ashdown MiBass 550 head. It is only a few months old and indistinguishable from a new one (with plenty of warranty left). 550W output into 4 ohms. Very small and as light as a feather. It has a really versatile eq section that is also easy to use. Twin Speakon outs. A very useful MP3 input, which will double as a keyboard input (or anything else in an emergency). The same B&O power amp section as Ampeg, MarkBass, Genz Benz, Eden and others, which all cost a lot more. Selling for £250 which is £100 less than the best price I could find for one of these on the web (a 'B' grade from Thomann). Otherwise, £399 seems to be the going price: http://www.gak.co.uk...ibass-550/50387 Sorry for the stock photo, but it really is brand spanking. The Ashdown info page is here: http://www.ashdownmu...tion=mb&ID=264. I'd consider a part-ex for a standalone power amp, as I'm now looking at putting together a pre/power amp combination. stevie Posted May 19, 2012 Author Posted May 19, 2012 On hold for gjones. Which goes to show, if you put a bargain on here it gets snapped up right away.
