scratchplate or not??

recently acquired a rather nice squier deluxe active jazz - all black version. now it doesnt have a scratchplate as standard but tbh i'd quite like to put a tort one on it but cant make my mind up cos once i do then it'll have to stay on or else the holes will show! anyone done something similar?

Stick it on with industrial double sided tape. No holes if you don't like it.
