Mickeyboro
This is one big case...acquired to house my Explorer bass. Now use gig bag, so not needed. It's tatty but functional outside - all three latches work and hinges are solid - while inside it's pretty pristine. Here's a pic of it with the bass (half) in. Can post pictures of outside tomorrow. £25 collected from Bordon Hampshire or (possibly) High Wycombe. M

FlatEric
Ahhhhgggg! Don't do it!! That is a rare old beast you have there! Slight mishap with the bass in a gig bag, and that head is going to suffer some damage!! Your case looks like the one it took me ages to find for mine. Once it's gone, you may struggle to find another one. Just something to think about. Cheers. PS I have only ever seen a handful of these in the UK. I wonder how many there are? [/quote] +1, Likewise, wouldn't dream of gigging my '85 Gibbo Explorer without the hard case! On the upside, at least the necks are maple rather than mahogany (as on the more fragile T'birds) Downside is the case is the size of the deck of an aircraft carrier....
