Won't get fooled again

Hey guys,

I've joined a band and they're first song to get things kicked off is the title name now as you guys are aware John Entwistle is an astonishing bassist! And im having trouble getting the bass line down,

Im gunna be a cheap skate and is there any easier way of playing the bass line?

Hi TJAS92,

Fortunately help is at hand - but you'll have to adapt as best you can. From what I can tell, his technique was all his own, so that makes simple copying difficult.

Unless I was in a Who tribute, I wouldn't bother trying to nail his [i]very[/i] unique technique.
I used to do that song, can't recall any particularly trick bits? Unless I was just disinterested,....yeah that was it....clatterbucket Entwhistle
