Some really world-class playing, great feel and groove, superb production, new, fresh ideas and a return to form for the old night tripper himself. The bass and drums on this album are just astonishing.[i] [/i]

Not really similar (imho), but I keep being drawn back to El Camino (The Black Keys). Covers a lot of ground musically, great playing, brilliant retro production and yet fresh, exciting and interesting...
