Solopolo Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Ok, so i think i posted this in Items wanted before by mistake. Am looking to sell this bass. It's immaculate, with hard case. These things retail for around £2300 Looking for around £1600. Contact me if you're interested or just want more info.
Truckstop Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 Yamaha are the only brand that makes gold hardware look tasteful and sexy! Bump for a gorgeous bass! Good luck with the sale Truckstop
pluckedout Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 I second that - lovely looking bass. I have the mark 1 model but have often been tempted by the mark 2.
Solopolo Posted May 29, 2012 Author Posted May 29, 2012 I've also listed the bass on Ebay this week with a starting price of £1350. A bargain! Contact me via this forum rather than Ebay if you want to make me an offer
thumbo Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 I'm surprised this is still here, given the amount of Yamaha praise that goes down on this forum. Stunning bass.
Solopolo Posted June 27, 2012 Author Posted June 27, 2012 Is £1600 too high for this? I'm open to sensible offers.
pete.young Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012
I recently acquired one of these,.and liking it alot, .have a bump for these superb basses
Ady, how does it compare to the TRB5P ? (Bump)
difficult to say in this market, lovely bass though. I had very little interest when trying to sell my mark 1 BBNE for £700-800 recently then decided to keep it; very glad I did. Good luck with the sale, hope it goes to a good home.
stingrayPete1977 Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012
I still miss my BBNE2. A great bass.
Yep it was an incredible bass! best fit and finish I have seen on any instrument so far bar none Bargainous price I would say.
pete.young Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012
In a word "superior"...BUMP
Ha ha, brilliant answer, definitely worth another bump. Unfortunately the band needs a mixer more than I need this lovely bass so get thee behind me, Santa!
bassmate Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 One of the best basses available on the planet ... Super Versatile, makes it through the mix always - no matter if strings are fresh or old. Best luck selling it!

Solopolo Posted September 24, 2012 Author Posted September 24, 2012 I still have this sexy little number. It really is a great bass, needing to make room for a baby!
Ted59 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 i have a bbne 2 on sale (i have no ads here, for the moment).
