And if we're talking nanoseconds, you'll find that valves were/are used at radio-frequencies. Clearly a bollockesque over-generalisation.

I have all three

All Valve amp
Hybrid (Three valve Premap)
Solid State

My preference would be the all valve but it weighs 80lbs so i go with te hybrid.

All sound good and do a good job but my Hiwatt with a P Bass sounds Glorious and has something the others don't.

Spot on.

Doesn't matter if it's valves in a milk crate or transistors in a biscuit tin, if it sounds right it is right... :)

+1 thats it. if it sounds right to you, then it is.

i tried all three and settled on a hybrid but that doesn't mean its best

but its BEST FOR ME

Best for you could be something completely different.
