Hi Steve,
Thanks once again, for taking the time to share your thoughts on the strings - and such nice thoughts too!
I think that, as Bremen discovered, the big problem with these strings is the diameter and the problems of getting them to fit on a bass - I have them on one of my basses and love them for jazz, but were it not for my work with the company I probably wouldn't have even tried them.

Never really played it enough. Plus intend to move about abit this year and it wasn't practicle. She's now in the good hands of BC's vey own merlin.

i need to take these strings off before gigs at weekend. is there anyone next on the list? (btw i love the strings but need my steel cores back to cope with festival stages). can you just invent a set with steel cores please?

First impressions - very nice. Love the bite at the start of a note playing pizz.

Thanks Cattytown, yeh a lot of the guys who use like them for jazz or blues/roots mention the nice "click" or "pop" at the start of the note - I'd also love to use them more myself, but sadly the amount of bowing I have to do makes it impossible...
