whitlock1987 Posted May 30, 2012 Share Posted May 30, 2012 I'm looking at using the funds raised through the sale of this to buy a stratocaster that a chap at work is selling - he needs the money by the weekend, so I slashed the duration of the ebay lot so that it ends Friday evening - if I've recieved no firm interest by then, it looks as if it will be staying put for the time being! I've bought a couple of basses from him and he's a straight up guy. The site has a number of pictures of the guitars so you get a good look at it and he also gives a good description of the instrument. BUT the 'non-export' fender japan ranges (incl. that he buys) includes a fair amount of stuff that isn't the "US" range with the alder/ash and US pups. Pedant in me there. whitlock1987 Posted June 1, 2012 Share Posted June 1, 2012 The jazz version tends to be cheaper, I've told a chap on feebay that I want 700ish so will see what he says, the lot ends today anyway. would consider 600 in fairness. for me it's all down to the rarity, I haven't seen many and they're not made anymore!
