I've bought one of these



I'm learning guitar anyway, the GF wants to play more Rockband so I thought "what the hell", and bought one. Should arrive this week.

Now... I hear you saying, that's not a real instrument BUT it is! I can plug it into my korg and shred through the midi cable for a giggle. More importantly, it'll then pass the midi through to protools and that means I can record midi from a guitar for only £80.

So yeah, I'm happy anyway

I've got a Yamaha EZ-EG which is a similar sort of thing. It's pretty crap as a guitar substitute, but brilliant as a MIDI controller.

Other than playing rockband with it I anticipate hours of fun

I'm currently also in a keyboard based ballady type band where I'm writing tunes and now I can play this funky beast on stage too. Should get some funny looks
