I have a rather unusual but fun little bass for sale. It is a 1967 Fender Mustang Bass (confirmed by stamp on neck, and the number on the neck plate thing). It has been routed and fitted with a precision bass pick up, apparently its a fender and was done sometime in the seventies, but don't know how to confirm this. It is a pleasure to play, and has a really beefy old school sound, currently strung with very heavy flat wounds. Great for the seventies Average White Band sound, motown thud and is surprisingly versatile. Only reason for selling is that some bastard nicked my amp over the weekend. Only trades I would consider are for a LM3 or mark bass cabs + or - cash either way. Am based in South London, but travel a lot with gigs so might be able to meet in a place more convenient.

Not sure how to value this but say £850 ono....

Having just bough an early 19th century English double bass, funds aren't exactly plentiful at the moment....

Nice bass, I love old Mustangs, I still have a rather knackered old Mustang neck knocking about, shame about the pickup mod. I take it the finish is original?

As far as I know, few dings around the usual places but otherwise very clean... Currently away working but when home can post a few close up shots!

£750? Im not entirely sure how to price this, because of the pickup mod, but it is still a mid sixties fender with tons of vibe... will try and put up a couple sound clips!
