Omicron_9
Greetings. I like the forum; have been reading it for a while, but just joined. I live in the US, have been playing for over 30 years. I like bassists like Eberhard Weber, Michael Manring, and the ECM type artists. Thanks and regards, -0.

Zenitram
Salutations from me as well. I'm a beginner with the bass. I was a drummer in my teens, and then spent years fiddling with synths and computer stuff at home, and am now turning to bass, for fun. I have a bass guitar with four strings on it, and various bits and pieces like pickups, and a long neck, and stuff. Oh and it's brown. It makes a nice noise if you plug it in and pluck the strings. They key, I'm told, is to pluck them with one hand and use your other hand to shape notes on the neck in a pleasingly melodic fashion. This, for the moment, is proving somewhat elusive, but I intend to persevere.
