Bought new by me from the Bass Gallery in 2007. Has a small dint in the back of the neck. Otherwise flawless - with a beautiful grain to the swamp ash body. Includes original Sadowsky case (and unopened registration documents...). No VTC on this, but I never found that a problem and you could always get one retrofitted. The build quality is incredible with a perfect neck pocket fit and spot-on string through polepiece action. It currently has DR 45 105s on it.

It has a very, very low action and is probably the best four string I've ever played. I really hate to see it go, but I'm selling it because I hardly ever play anymore, and this bass needs to be used.

I paid £1600. Yours for £900 OVNO for a quick sale. No trades please. Potential buyers are welcome to give it a play. I would prefer collection if possible (I'm in Kingston, Surrey), but could meet in central London.

Thanks.

To answer some of the questions I've been getting via PMs, the weight is exactly 4.0kg. There is little or no fret wear. The dint on the back of the neck is about 3mm long and is almost impossible to photograph.

Thanks.

This is an insane bargain. Literally. Very best of luck with the sale, I would be buying this if my Darryl Jones 4 wasn't exactly the same colour with identical block inlays.

This reminds me of my first Warwick (not a Rockbass) which I bought for merely £150 ten years ago. Have a bump on me, hope it sells soon because I can't stop thinking about selling my kidney...
