Facefoxx Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Hiya, not too sure where to put this as i'm new. I'm a student in England and i need to do some market research on a topic of my choice. Mine happens to be opinions about Straps and the importance of weight distribution. I think it's only 9 questions long so if anybody could take the time to fill it out would be a life saver. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/8R6N7PN Thank you, it's not particularly in depth just more a probing of people opinions on the subject. Thank you in advance Facefoxx Quote
TheGreek Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 This seems like a very good product - similar to straps on golf bags - they certainly work on the golf course - can't see why they wouldn't work for bass players.. Survey completed by the way.. Quote
EdwardHimself Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 ok done that. I must say having done 2 years of a degree I am still yet to have to make a survey... Quote

Mark_Andertons Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Survey done. Just out of interest is your course in marketing or in design? and where are you studying? If it's in Marketing happy to help you out in any way if I can. Be through all that myself so glad to help someone else going through it Quote

I have no problem with that, but the standard of teaching in these modules aren't too great if i'm honest. which is worrying considering that this amount to 60% of said module And the criteria for this assignment focuses on both marketing and design. The figures from this survey will determine whether or not there is a need for a product like the one i'm proposing to make. at the moment i can argue either way. Saying either existing product already attend to this problem. Or that there is a need in which case the next step is prototyping. However Due to several reasons I've left it later than others. so any help really is appreciated. Quote
seashell Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Survey done. Wishing you successwith your course. Quote

I did my degree (in production) at Leeds College of Music which is pretty similar to ACM and BIMM and so on so I know what you mean about the extra modules that can seems a bit more 'filler' than 'killer' (disclaimer incase anyone from LCM is listening: love you really!) If there's anything specific I can help with just give me a shout on PM. Since uni I've done a second degree in Marketing from the Chartered Institute with specialisation in Market Research. I don't want to be over bearing and yak on about it but I know what it's like when you leave an assignment to the last minute (I was the master of that) and you suddenly realise you need to know something and it's too late to ask a tutor. SO... if you have any last minute 'sh*t I need some help with that' moments just let me know. I'm checking my inbox every 2 mins at the moment waiting to hear about some FX for sale so I'll see any PM pretty quick. Best of luck! Quote
EskimoBassist Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I've completed it too, best of luck in your course. Quote
