4000 Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Lovely-looking bass Pete. I tried one of Paul's basses at the last Bass Day I went to and it was arguably my bass of the day; I liked it far more than the Fodera I played. Nice bloke too. Best of luck with the sale and have a bump on me.

warwickhunt Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 I'm about due a fretless fix but the only lightweight bass I have is my Parker Fly (7.5lb) but we are too far apart for me to try! Looks lush though.
Chris2112 Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 That looks nice! Shame it doesn't suit your shoulder!

Scooby Posted June 17, 2012 Author Posted June 17, 2012
wow any ideas on the sound?
HI Fred Sound-wise, the design brief was to have a very articulate fretless sound. The ebony fingerboard gives an almost piano-like quality to the overall sound. The body woods produce a lovely mid-range tone, growl and mwah mixed ;o) The EMG pre amp allows a quick tweak and you can go from very mellow to almost a steely bite. The neck is very smooth and so slim so it is easy to produce smooth glides! Hope that helps.
