Right now? I couldn't do without my TC Vintage Bass Distortion. I'd really be stuck without an auto wah. And my Hartke Bass Driver.

I love the hartke bass driver too, wipes the floor with the sansamp (imho).
But the pedal i wont play without is my trusty old Boss CS-1 compressor, although to be fair any compressor will do!, as long as there is some squish.

Of what I use now (ME-50B & Hartke VXL Bass Attack), it'd be the VXL.

Possibly the VXL, but I'd like to try Aphex's Punch Factory and Bass Xciter before I decide.

Assuming I can overdrive my amp a good amount without any effects, I'd say a looper or a delay. Probably a Headrush or an RC20-XL, something like that.
