Torben Hedstrøm Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Anyone seen one like this before ? : http://www.dba.dk/elbas-andet-maerke-sandberg/id-83504991/ Quote
Clarky Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Yep, it's part of their Thinline range. http://www.thomann.de/gb/sandberg_custom_thinline.htm Ugly as sin if you ask me! Quote
BigRedX Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 (edited) It's a called a Custom Thinline. Here's the page on the Sandberg web site for the current version Edit: must type faster... ezbass Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I've played a 6 string version of these, really, really nice. Quote
Torben Hedstrøm Posted June 4, 2012 Author Posted June 4, 2012 Yeah, looks quite good really . A little on the expensive side though :/ Quote
BassBus Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 If I've calculated the exchange correctly that makes that about £707. A new one would cost over 16000KR, and that's just for a four string. Quote
BigRedX Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I played a 5-string version at Music Live (I think). It had a really uncomfortable neck - and I'm usually very tolerant of stuff like that. I'd suggest trying one before parting with your money. Quote
bigsmokebass Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Looks good enough, I'm just a bit uneasy on the transfer (headstock) and the jazz Pickup when the other basses shared all have the humbucker? 0_o Quote
