luckman67
My collection has gone from 4 to 2 basses now, and I'm glad in a way. I have just sold my MIJ / MIM Fender Precision & Ampeg BA115 Combo, and I have given my Daughter my 1989 Squier Precision to learn on. The basses that are left are my May 1964 Hofner Violin bass (owned for 24 years), and my October 1992 Rickenbacker 4003 (owned for 12 years). I have had around 8 basses in the last three years and after reading, threads of people who were happy with 1 bass got me thinking. So I did reduce my collection but short of a family emergency these 2 are going nowhere soon...
Schnozzalee
And a very nice couple to have!! I think it's always good to have a backup
Lozz196
Nice basses, a very vintagey looking pair they are. I`m up to 3 again, after vowing to only have 2 - but at least my 3rd bass isn`t yet another Precision this time - gone for something different, Sterling by Musicman Ray34, with actives - that`s right, not a Precision, and active not passive, I blame the hot weather of last week! Prime_BASS
I only have one right now. There is one bass I am gassing for but never comes up, ever. I mean ever ever ever.
luckman67
How old is the Macca doll?
Not that old 1989-90 I bought it from the Beatles shop in Mathew Street. Here is another picture of him with the violin bass headstock & swingtag. KingBollock
I have 4 but I only really consider that I have 2, as the other two are cheapos and would actually take a bit of work to get them working properly (because I have used parts from my Westfield, which had been working brilliantly, to repair one of my main two), they aren't even in my music room anymore. Of my main two I have one four string, which is tuned half a step down, and one 5 string tuned to standard. This covers just about everything I wish to play, as long as it doesn't need drop D chugging.
Gust0o
If I could get down to just two, it would be my two Stingrays. Thankfully, I can't.
Lfalex v1.1
I just couldn't get that low! Even if I sold on the lesser-played basses, I'd still have 7 that I'd have to keep. And I'm saving towards an EUB as we speak...
Cat Burrito
Two good ones IMHO. I have 3 now and I'd be too embarrassed to say how many it used to be
luckman67
Before family came along I used to have between 4 & 5 basses at a time, was gigging a lot then sometimes miss those single days.
