Nice sounding Warwick too.

Very nice! Even with the less-than-stellar sound quality of the recording....it still sounds great. I googled him and found this page...same person?. I will be keeping an eye out for him! Thanks for posting this clip...I'd love to hear more from him!

You've found another Sharay Reed, Kiwi.

Yeah, saw it the other day :D

He does seem like a bit of a Sharay copyist doesn't he.

All those gospel players are slick and really know their theory and particularly their inversions. Sharay does some incredible fills over some tricky chords sometimes. I was looking at an instructional vid yesterday on youtube showing how to do one of his fills. The presenter introduces the fill by mentioning its done over a 6 over 9 chord and later on finishes it by hoping the viewer finds lots of ways to use it.

Honestly though...how often do 6 over 9 chords ever pop up in gospel?

Cool vid about inversions and gospel bass here. Shows how to invert simple chords and arpeggiate up the neck as a run.

Way more useful than 6 over 9 chords. My god...I'm at serious risk of practicing.
