therealting
I think the V2 Combustions have an active/passive switch. I absolutely love my V1 Combustions

Jay J
Hi Guys - yes its the original Combustion 5, not the 2. I've a Dingwall addiction now and saving up to upgrade to the ABZ, hence the sale.. I didn't know about the B string booster, is that a like small pre amp type jobby that goes into the electronics compartment. Jay J
Jay J
I've checked on the Dingwall Forum, can see it's a magnet addition to the pup's. I haven't noticed that the B string has less volume, doesn't seem any need to boost it... Jay J
johnbassdoherty
Your right it's just a couple of magnets, i thought mine didn't need them either, but i got them anyway, it doesn't boost the volume, it gives the B string even more definition, save a bit longer and go for an AB1 instead,
therealting
I have an extra B Booster set which I bought from Dingwall without realising my Combustion already had them installed, so if anyone buys this and would like them, we can talk about it.
