You may be right, although I know a few serious collectors who have been looking for this bass for many years, and if it went for £15K then they would have pounced, none of them have any recollection of seeing it for sale before?

Sure this has been up on ebay in the states before, sure the seller was the bass player for Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. That was a while ago, and it was $40k then
