More Mwaaaahh than a Mwaaaahie thing

This could be a post here, or in the EUB section, but having played the Dean Pace upright stick bass I got from the Bay today, I am blown away with the depth of tone up at the dusty end.

I've had a number of fretless' from Ric, Leo, Westone and Yam, but this thing is a total beast for sustain, vibrato and the ever elusive Mwaaaahh.

Got a 34" scale neck, so fingers like a 'leckie, but such a different experience to play upright on a tripod stand. I know they are a bit of an odd bass/ EUB hybrid, but if you get the chance to try one, grab it.
