1994 Status Series II All Graphite Headed Bass with Blue LED's - SOLD

I am now just using my two Jazz basses for everything and so I am moving on a few things that are lovely but not used.

Next up is a custom 1994 Status Series II all-graphite bass with Blue LEDs.
I have had this bass for just over a year and bought it from the original owner. Here is the information that was passed onto me by him.

Bought in 1994, this is an all graphite body and thru neck Series II Status bass. In 2008, it had blue LEDs fitted into the neck by SIMS and in 2009, the neck p/u and pan pot was replaced by Rob at Status.

Whilst I have only used it for a few gigs, it has seen some action over the years and whilst there is no major issues, it does have a number of dings and scractches on the edge of the body and a couple of the edges of the fingerboard. (none of these have affected the playing of the bass and I've tried to capture them all in the photos).

It comes with a fitted metal hardcase.

This is a real stunning bass and can produce a beefy tone as known by Status basses.

Ideally, I'm looking for SOLD collected from near J13 M25 or I can meet within reason.
Any questions, just let me know

That's quite an unusual Series II. Don't see many like that. Very fair price too.

Yep, there has been some debate on the gear porn thread about which model this is but I managed to contact the original owner who confirmed to me that it was one of the early headed Series II models

That's cool! Forgive my ignorance but whats the difference between a series I and II apart from shape?

Have a look here. Scroll down a bit and you'll find lots of info on the Series I and II.
