tom1946 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 This is my 3 week old SR300M which is in showroom condition. So, why am I selling it? Because I'm a dumb sumbitch and didn't spot the bit that said "24 frets" and as a Fender man I can't get to grips with it, I'm hitting wrong notes all the time. I'm 65 and don't have enough life left to get used to it. It's very very light, 7.5lbs or thereabouts. I would swap for a Jazz or Precsion but it must have Maple board and be in equally good order. Can add a little cash if required. This is Iron Pewter which is a new colour and it looks stunning. Only weighs around 7.5 lbs too! Spec':

neck Material: 5pc Maple/ Rosewood
Neck Type: SR4
Body: Agathis body
Frets: Medium frets
Fingerboard: Maple
Inlay: Black dot inlay
Bridge: B100 bridge
NeckPU: EXF-4-F
BridgePU: EXF-4-R
EQ: STYLE SWEEPER (SR)
HW Color: Iron pewter metallic
These sell for about £279 and this is no different to a new one in a shop so would like to get £220 delivered to your door (UK mainland only) Pics: cheers.
Sean Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Very pretty and bang tidy for anyone looking for their first serious bass
tom1946 Posted June 12, 2012 Author Posted June 12, 2012 Correct, at the same time. I haven't been playing long enough to realise that they would be so different from Fenders. I just wanted lightness which overrode everything else. We all make mistakes.
richardd Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Do You have to buy these Ibanez's in pairs Tom

You do realise it's only got 24 frets to make it look nice, the solution to your issue is not play above the 7th fret
TheGreek Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 I've got the teardrop hard case for these if you're or the buyer are interested..
