neepheid Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) I am selling my Yamaha BB614, having replaced it with a BB300 - I prefer to have a passive bass for my office/beater/backup/rough gig/festival bass. It's black with matching headstock, PJ pickups, 3 band EQ (active only), rosewood board, 21 frets. It's in fair condition - the body's not bad from the front but there's quite a lot of buckle rash in the back, nothing through to the wood though. The neck is in good shape, nice satin feel, somewhere between a P and a J neck. A small chip in the top of the headstock is visible, but only if you're looking for it. The stock innards have been replaced with an Artec SE-3 and a new Neutrik barrel jack socket fitted. I can supply the original Yamaha circuit if you want to put it back. A couple of the rubber O rings on the EQ knobs are missing. I'm looking for £125 plus postage for it. Bank transfer preferred. Edited June 16, 2012 by neepheid
Horizontalste Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 A lot of bass & for Squier money. A bargain for someone.
neepheid Posted June 16, 2012 Author Posted June 16, 2012 The bass is now sold. The office bass is dead, long live the office bass
neepheid Posted June 16, 2012 Author Posted June 16, 2012
Unbelievable price for a great bass.
You'd think so, but I've had lowball offers on it!
