pantherairsoft Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 They had these in a local guitar store here in Nottingham a couple of years back. Blue, Pink & Yellow I recall seeing them in. They were about £99 if I recall. The ones that the store had in felt like they had been set up by blind monkey's! lol Quote
lettsguitars Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 These were made 'for girls' and also unfortunate boys who were destined to get beaten up with there own 'guitars' because their mum went and got their christmas present. Quote
gemdids Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 I'm a girl. I would NEVER play that piece of crap. Quote
paul_5 Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 I'm a man. But back when I was a girl I wouldn't have touched that with a 6' bargepole. Awful! Kill it with fire! Quote
apa Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Apparently they have Duncan Designed pickups!! The 'Heartbreaker' is pretty cool as well. Actually as cheap novelty guitars go these arent bad looking http://www.musicwarehouse.co.uk/daisy-rock/668-daisy-rock-heartbreaker-bass-black.html A Quote
throwoff Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 They are pretty cool things. Always fancied one to gig for a laugh, they were designed with girls in mind through. Short scales etc etc. Actually not bad instruments. Quote
LawrenceH Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Hmm, P pickup in a vaguely 'ray-ish position, on what looks to be a short scale? I bet it'd sound interesting with a DiMarzio Model P! Quote

Musky Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012
Same here. I discovered the Hannah Montana guitar we have for the kids has the proper dimensions to accept a full size tele neck It sounds fairly decent as it is too. Would love to take it out for a gig for shits and giggles. As for the daisy rock I'm pretty sure someone on the forum has or had one and reckoned it was pretty good for the coinage.
Jean Luc Pickguard bought a stardust for his daughter I believe. AFAIK he thought it was a nice bass. Quote
Immo Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 (edited)
I'd gig one for a laugh
Same here as well. Unfortunately, this would probably mean an end of my career as Poles are not quite tolerant But I'll buy a blue flower pickguard for my T-40, that's for sure. EDIT: Oh, and the Squier Badtz Maru Bronco Bass - I gotta have this. Edited June 14, 2012 by Immo Quote
AttitudeCastle Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 I have gigged one Wasn't bad! Can't comment on the neck, as the one I played had a modded neck (had be shaved down to owners liking, was kind of like a flatter ibanez) Felt pretty solid, paint was decent. Was with a Doom-core band (Yes, obscure weird and making no sense. So, loud idiots boucing around on stage) and it survived! Would get one if it was super cheap for teaching bad students Quote
