6stringbassist
I ordered these ages ago for my new Sei 6 string, but due to a delay in the production and shipping I decided to have Bartolini P4's fitted to the Sei as Martin had already suggested. The Q-tuners were now going to go in my Modulus, they were ordered to be a direct replacement, ie they should have been 114 x 38mm. Yesterday I received an email from Erno, who designs and builds the pickups to say that mine had been shipped, but on checking the details the wrong size had been sent, they had sent 128 x 36 mm pickups by mistake. They are however going to send out a new pair free of charge, which will be with me in the next couple of weeks. Here's a link to the website http://www.q-tuner.com/index.shtml There are loads of threads on talkbass about these. Anyway if anyone wants a brand new set of boutique pickups at a bargain price they can have these for £80 including 1st class postage, that's half price. Chopthebass
So its the 114mm ones for sale? Are they suitable for 5-string? Also can they suit any string spacing? Cheers
6stringbassist
No, I ordered 114 X 38, they've sent me 128 x 36, I've edited it to make it a bit clearer. They'll certainly fit a 5 string, in fact anything up to a 7 string. They'll fit any string spacing.
