highwayone
Anyone recommend a good electronic tuner? I've heard good things about the korg pitchblack and boss tu-15 but that's from people trying to sell me one so not sure! Or are they all much of a muchness? Your comments and knowledge appreciated as always.

EssentialTension
I'm using an old Boss TU2, but the TU3 is just as good.
mckendrick
I'm as blind as a bat so I got a Korg DTR1000. 19" unit with a highly visible display, and, for the kind of dross I play, really unneccesarily acurate. It's totally fab. I've tried the Pitchblack since I got this and I can see myself using one in the furure. Highly visible - even for blindies like me. Accurate down to about 21hz, Power source, too - which is cool. And can be had for under £50.00. Bargain. . Lozz196
Boss TU2 works well for me. And as said, you can power another pedal from it, which is a useful feature.
highwayone
bought a pitchblack in the end, a steal off the bay!
DrBike
[quote name='markstuk' timestamp='1339524127' post='1689939'] Joyo JT-305... Pitchblack alike for £25-£30 .. As good as the tuner on my RH450.. Sent it back and got a refund as they were out of stock and apparently that supplier won't be getting any more in. It's a shame cos I liked it and when it worked it was fine. I kind of object to paying £50+ for a tuner - there must be a lot of profit in these things.
OliverBlackman
[quote name='highwayone' timestamp='1339664744' post='1692095'] bought a pitchblack in the end, a steal off the bay! discreet
Why use up valuable rack or pedalboard real estate when you could get one of these?
