3-Tone Sunburst P-bass, Maple or Rosewood finger board?

Whend I started playing I always lusted after Maple boards as they only appeared on top end basses that I couldn't afford, but now I've had the chance to buy and play some higher end basses I find I'm a re fan and have to say 3ts/RW/tort just has classic written all over it

I used to go Maple, but lately my choices of basses have brought me to Rosewood. A 4003, Fretless Jazz, SG Std. i don't have a any problems with subdued tones with Rosewood either.
