Rover77
Hi, just joined. Have Hohner 5 string Jack, used to have Cort 4 string as spare, but down to the old faithful at moment. Always been a bit of purist when it came to tone, no effects just played straight into my Trace SMX12 head and 410 h. However had to get rid of the beast few years back and just got the Trace 1215 smx combo as gigging again. Thought I'd branch out and liked the idea of cab simulator and effects so got the Behringer V amp pro for £50 on Ebay as well. Trouble is I have absolutely no idea how to connect the Behringer to the Trace! So could someone talk me through what to connect and where? I am not jargon savvy at all so baby steps please! Muchos Gracias!
BassTractor
Hi Rover77, Welcome to BC. Sorry, I don't know the first thing about this, so I can't baby step you through this. I'd have expected it to have a jack IN and a jack OUT, but am obviously bad at expecting. Enjoy your stay!
dincz
I guess you haven't got the manual and it's awful anyway. There's a useful guide put together by a guy on TalkBass. Get it here: http://www.zinfanus.com/vamp/guide.pdf

Mr. Foxen
Does the combo have an fx loop? line out from the vamp (which is a preamp for the purpose) to the fx return on combo is simple way if it has one.
