ROConnell
Okay, my band is playing the school concert (this year featuring a stage in the shape of and lit up like a jukebox) and we need a great number which features a choir. Last year we done something similar with Pink Floyd's Another Brick In The Wall Part II, which went down brilliantly. All suggestions welcome, it doesn't have to be specifically rock but we'd like to stay around that genre. Cheers.

KevB
If they are happy doing the 'ahhs and oohs' type vocal backing then; Mr Blue Sky - serious choral stuff going on toward the end. Also check out things that bands have done live with choirs that aren't on the original versions. Thinking of stuff like 'Question' by Moody Blues. musophilr
Rick Wakeman used choirs on some of The Six Wives of Henry VIII, and Journey To The Centre Of The Earth. Try also Enya - she layered her voice a lot but that doesn't mean you can't do her songs with lots of voices.

flyfisher
Yep, me too. Ray Davies recently released a CD with choral arrangements for many of his famous songs. Not really an improvement, in my view, but could be useful for the OP's project? http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Kinks-Choral-Collection-Davies/dp/B001W6Q4BU
