i listened to the gig whilst driving back from bass gear, i was surprised at how cool and normal he sounded as a person. The band were also pretty good, those samples can be difficult to recreate!

Yeah I'm pretty sure that he's being covered by a bass player not quite on camera - I thought I saw a bassist over to the right at some point.

It sounds as if the bassline was being doubled by a synth during the verse but he looked to be playing it during the chorus. I quite like that song actually.

and using fingers which would lead me to think he actually does know what he's doing. If I was going to mime a bass I would play with pick- purely as the up and down of the hand would look better

I liked the song and the bassline. IMO it looked like Usher was miming playing because when he stopped playing the sound didn't change. He had a nice bass and looked like he can play and was having fun.

An attempt to give talentless inept "RnB" artists some type of artistic credability,which to be honest dissapeared from the majority of black music quite a few years ago. Sorry just my 20 pence worth.
